Requirements for Scholarships
Living in the campus environment enables students to fully immerse themselves in the DBU experience with, on campus residency being mandatory for all DBU Scholarships except, for Transfer Commuter option. To retain their scholarship, at Dallas Baptist University students need to uphold the specified GPA indicated below as a requirement.The university evaluates students overall GPA at the conclusion of each semester to assess their scholarship eligibility.Status updates regarding scholarship standing will be sent to students via their university email addresses following the completion of each year, in May. Students who fail to meet the specified requirements, for renewing their scholarships can apply for the DBU Scholarship.Students should submit an Appeal Form before or, during the semester they wish to have their scholarships reinstated. A decision will be communicated via email around two weeks after the committee review; however at the beginning of the semester delays, in processing times may occur.
The scholarships mentioned are, for new students starting their studies in the year 2024, to 2025 whether they are first time freshmen or transferring from another institution. You can only be eligible, for an scholarship, at DBU; they will provide you with the scholarship offering the highest monetary value.
All undergraduate scholarships, at DBU can be renewed for, up to four years or 48 terms of studies with a limit set at tuition fees.

Seniors graduating who are not taking a full course load in their semester may have their scholarships adjusted according to their enrollment status.
Private Scholarship at Dallas Baptist University
The scholarships referenced earlier cannot be applied to programs and a student is unable to obtain an academic scholarship that surpasses the amount of their initial award received in their first year as a student.Students who are about to graduate but are not taking a complete course load during their semester might see changes, in their scholarships based o their enrollment status.
What are the scholarships that I am eligible to apply for?
Private scholarships are organized based on their deadline.
